Um, Jesus did claim to be God. We’ve been over this. The people in his day wanted to stone Him for blasphemy when He said, “I and the Father are One,” because He made Himself equal to God. He forgave sins. Who but God has this power? He accepted worship without rebuking those who did so. Only God or a blasphemer may accept worship due to God. He had power over the wind and waves, over sickness and disease, over demons, even over death. He raised Jairus’ daughter and Lazarus from the dead. He said that he had power to lay down his own life and power to take it back up again. He backed up his claims of authenticity with miracles and displays of supernatural power. He proved the truth of his claims by rising from the dead. He said He was the Door and that any man who did not enter to God by Him was a thief. he said He was THE way, THE truth and THE life and that NO Man could come to the Father, except by Him. He claimed to be equal with God. The Jews of His day certainly understood this.

sufi786, Rather then shouting out on the page take some time to read through the bible in the same way you would read any other book. No-one picks a book off a shelf reads one sentence and can profess to understand the author, or even the story he is telling.
Also I would not dare to comment on anything in the Qur’an as I have barely even held one in my hands. So I ask the same of you surely you should take time to look at what the bible says as a whole.

The Bible says THOU shalt not make graven images. Not God, but men is disallowed to do so. God can make any image he cares to. In fact, He even made man IN HIS IMAGE.

As for why Jesus [God the Son] would pray to God the Father, it is explained in the kenosis. Jesus was fully God AND fully man while on Earth. This necessitated a brief separation [his lifetime] of God from God [same Triune God, not 2 or 3 separate gods]. The part of God that was Jesus prayed to commune with the other parts of the Godhead. The Bible also states that Jesus offered public prayers as a testimony [for example,note the prayer he offers before he raises Lazarus from the grave].

and as i said mate prophet muhhammad is prophesised in your book. simple way to resolve this issue Jesus pbuh spokes hebrew… so i suggest u look at the hebrew scriptures and see that he is mentiond by NAME yes i quote “by NAME”… look at the defenition of paracletos in hebrew u will see his NAME… so it is all up to u mate if u do not except this as true u go against the bible! therefore YOU testify yourself that the bible is not the word of God as soon as u see his name and don’t accept it…
lets talk logically Jesus pbuh clearly said:
“i have not been sent but to the lost sheep of Israel”
this does not have 2 meanings it is clear cut evidence he is sent only to jews, NO ONE ELSE.
Jesus was told by God:
“go e not into the ways of the genetiles”
this has no second meaning this clearly says do not preach to the NON JEWS.
so God himself said he is sent ONLY for the Jews. he said it himself that he was sent for the Jews. Yet you say he is the Saviour of humanity…

how do i get to God (through the teachings of Jesus)
what are the teachings (the commandments)

doesnt Paul simplify the bibles teachings (paul came far after jesus departed how did the other people cope before paul? (by following Jesus duh)) acutally he goes against some of the teachings.
I’m not sure about the trinity. As of right now, I do not believe that yeshua/jesus is god, but I wouldn’t say that i’m 100% on it. This, however, by NO MEANS shows that I should accept the qu’ran. ‘Christianity’ IS full of paganism and unbiblical teachings, but a fundamental approach to the bible is the ‘true religion.’ Most importantly, drop the anti-torah message that Paul teaches.(islam also teaches against the torah, proving it to be a false religion by the word of god)

Vicky wake up God cannot be seen it is the Bible which says so and so does the Quran in General with exeption that God can be seen in the life Hereafter because only because Allah makes this possible it is not like any tom dick and harry seeing Jesus with no problems .
Secondly Quran does not say God is in everything ut the Quran says Allah encompasses everything so it need not be THAT God should be in everything but it is like God is every where and every thing is not beyond Him

Hi interesting place you have here.It seems to me that all this talk strays far from where one should begin.
My confusion is This. If i am to serve a perfect Holy God How should I serve Him because it seems to me That I spend more time sinning than serving Him. Once I have solved that problem then I need to decide on what relationship is the right relationship. Do I serve Him In fear because I am a sinner or do I serve Him In the Hope of earning salvation.(what does salvation look like.)
Once I have solved these big decisions perhaps the rest will be easy.
