there’s no need for a debate to prove who’s right and who’s wrong coz all the so called proofs you gather will be seen from Islamic eyes while mine will lead to the Buddhist concept of truth.
If you say MOST compatible, then i’d say religions that do not preach creationism
Until today,no scientific studies can proof the existance of GOD THE CREATOR, and never can science point to GOD THE CREATOR as the originator of everything.
Buddhism is not a religion that falls back on creationism.
While many a creationist based religion try to explain everything as being god’s creation - science can never prove the creationists theories right.
Buddhism, on the other hand, teaches cause and effect. One simple principle of cause and effect explains phenomenons ranging from the sprouting of plants to the purification of a human being.
Thunderstorms and tsunami, from the Buddhist point of view is not an incomprehensible wrath of god,but rather the working of several natural elements and the law of cause and effect that dictates who will become victims and who will become survivors.
Next, the Buddhist practice of meditation has indeed been tested by science and has shown that the practice brings inner peace to practitioners. It proves the point that we are the only ones who can save ourselves, not by prayers to any unseen imaginary god.
