Shaykh Ahmed Abdur Rashid is a Pir-o-Murshid of five Sufi Orders: the Naqshbandiyya, Mujaddadiyya, Qadriyya, Chistiyya, and Shadhiliyya. He applies the dynamic essence of Islam and Tasawwuf in a variety of practical settings, stressing the relevancy of spiritual insights to today’s social, political, and environmental issues. He is the senior khalifa of Shaykh at-Tariqat Hazrat Azad Rasool (ra).
